Mural The Flute Player
This mural is the final piece of the 'Dutch Masters' series, an initiative of the Centraal Museum and Utrecht Marketing. In order to raise awareness of the Utrecht Masters and to bring art to the neighborhoods outside the center, the Strakke Hand painters' collective realized this enormous mural. With a total height of 30.5 meters, this mural on a flat in Overvecht is one of the most special in Utrecht. The hand-painted work shows The Flute Player by Abraham Bloemart (1621). The painting can be admired on the Dorbeendreef in Overvecht.
