The Green House

A modern bridge has been built near Utrecht Central Station that allows you to walk or cycle over the railway from the center to the Croeselaan. At the end of the bridge you will find a glass pavilion in which you will find restaurant The Green House. The chefs prepare delicious dishes here with vegetables and herbs from their own urban farm or from the region.

The pavilion of The Green House is very sustainably built and will be given a new purpose after 15 years. It can therefore be completely disassembled and recycled materials are used as much as possible. For example, part of the glass facade comes from the former adjacent Knoop military base.

But there is more… In collaboration with "The Color Kitchen" untapped talent gets a chance here as well. The aim is that 20% of the team consists of people who have a distance to the labor market.
