The market on the Vredenburg is a typical Dutch market, featuring countless stalls offering fresh fruit & vegetables, bread, meat, fish, freshly roasted nuts and of course plenty of cheese. Feeling peckish after browsing the stalls? Try some typical Dutch snacks such as kibbeling (deep-fried fish) and ‘stroopwafels’ ( warm, thin waffles with syrup). Or another favourite ‘market snack’ of the Dutch: a Vietnamese spring roll.
